Good accounting and clean compliance keep our company strong and trusted. As a Junior Accountant – Compliance Intern, you will help us record every rupee correctly, follow the rules, and spot any problems early. You will work with our Finance and Compliance teams and see how a modern fintech company meets both SCA (UAE) and Indian regulations.

What you will do

1. Bank and wallet reconciliations – confirm balances, chase missing items, and flag differences.
2. Compliance logs – update KYC, AML, and tax files so that audits run smoothly.
3. Data cleanup – review Excel sheets for errors, duplicates, or missing fields.
4. Basic reporting – prepare month-end summaries for senior accountants.
5. Document control – file contracts, purchase orders, and tax letters in the right folders.
6. Process checks – follow simple checklists to be sure we meet RBI and SCA rules.
7. Team support – help with ad-hoc tasks like invoice scanning or pulling data for audits.

What you will learn

1. How a fintech startup structures its chart of accounts.
2. Practical steps in KYC, AML, and GST compliance.
3. Short-cut formulas and pivot tables that accountants use every day.
4. Real-life deadlines, cross-team communication, and agile workflows.
5. Tips for staying audit-ready—even when things move fast.

You are

1. A B.Com / BBA / M.Com student or recent graduate (finance, accounting, or similar).
2. Familiar with Excel (filters, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, basic pivot tables).
3. Comfortable with simple accounting words like “debit,” “credit,” and “trial balance.”
4. Careful and detail-focused—small errors bother you.
5. Eager to follow rules and ask questions when unsure.
6. Able to work on-site in Bangalore

Bonus points if you:

1. Have used Tally, Zoho Books, or any cloud accounting tool.
2. Know the basics of GST filing or UAE VAT.
3. Have helped in college fests or clubs with finance tasks.
